2022 Heal Imagination - Moon Cycle 9

“Wait, why am I doing this?” If you’ve been finding your Self “back here, again (?#*$%@!)," you’re not alone.
In this 9th moon cycle, we get to heal the way we “see” possibilities for our Selves. We are coming face-to-face with choices we’ve made that have manifested a repeating pattern of Self-defeat … AND … we now “see” the possibility to choose a new direction, that shifts our destiny towards Self-realization and fulfillment, instead.
Here’s my current experience of this:
The archetype I’m working with is the CREATOR. I spent much of my life using my talents of creativity and imagination to help build other people’s dreams, for them. Time and again, I would give all I’ve got, only to find my Self no longer “needed” and trying to find some other person or business or cause that “needed” me, so I could survive. Eventually, not surprisingly, this approach took me out.
When I (re)launched my business about 10 years ago, my focus shifted, from creating for others, to doing my own work and creating for my Self, in a way that also allows me to help others see themselves and create for their Selves, too.
2 weeks ago, I realized the obvious, again. I have been giving away my full creative ability, pro bono, to help build a non-profit that is not mine. I care deeply about the person who started the non-profit and the cause, and I own my choices to contribute in this way. That said, I also see how I have poured my Self into someone else’s ambition and created a dependency on me that doesn’t actually nourish me, in the ways *I* most need and truly desire.
Although uncomfortable, at first, I’m ready to shift my destiny, by owning my value and my dreams and expressing my Self to support my own lifework. It’s powerful, and I deserve to give it my full commitment.
