Winter Solstice Ceremony #3-4 2020 & 2021
MY HISTORY — ORIGINALLY POSTED DECEMBER 24, 2021 ON INSTAGRAM@THEPOINTOFYOU
Happy (belated) Winter Solstice.
This year, my rite-of-passsge ceremony was done at the confluence of the Columbia River and the Pacific Ocean, with the Cape Disappointment lighthouse in the background.
Thank you Susanna Low-Beer for xo-conspiring with me (for the 4th year in a row!) on the jewelery piece (called Spirit Song) to represent and remind me of my commitment to my Self this year … stepping up into being my badass-storyteller-beacon-of-light.
And thanks to client/friend/soul sister Kristin Anderson for joining me this day (& driving!)...and all my client/friends who were inspired to make transformational commitments to step up more into "their" truest Selves, this year, too!
WINTER SOLSTICE 2020. The end of 2020 was quite intense for my family, and I never got around to posting pictures from my 3rd Winter Solstice Ceremony.
It was held at the base of Neahkahnie Mountain, out on the cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, just north of Manzanita, Oregon.
My deeply personal rite-of-passage themes were:
I accept the power of divine peace and joy, by being true to my Soul. I honor and release the part of me that has been the persecuted.
I relate the grace of divine sovereignty, by expressing my vision. I honor and release the part of me that has been the beggar.
I inspire the love of divine freedom, by realizing the innocence of my humanity. I honor and release the part of me that has been the outcast.
As always, I worked with Susanna Low-Beer to custom create a piece of jewelry (this one called Temple Door) to remind me this year’s commitment to my Self.
