Work-Play-Laugh-Cry-Heal-Retreat

MY HISTORY — ORIGINALLY POSTED AUGUST 11, 2021 ON INSTAGRAM@THEPOINTOFYOU

The last week of July, I got to spend a WONDER-full 8 days in Colorado, for a work-play-retreat-vacay with client-friend-“sister” Michelle Phelps. This trip was BIG for each of us, for different reasons.

For Michelle, it was revisiting, from a different perspective, some very special places that had been shared with her, that held both joy and pain, and getting to share places she loves with a friend, in a pay-it-forward way.

For me, it was about finally(!!!) getting to break out and explore, again … and “be” at the top of mountains, both physically AND metaphorically. In complementary ways, this trip was a powerful gift to ourselves and each other.

We mostly laughed and, a few times, cried. We played (a lot). We worked (a little). We held space for ourselves and each other. We bumped into our diminished selves, and each other’s. And we did our own work and shared and healed … all while exploring some astounding beauty.

HUGE THANK YOU, Michelle.
