1st Face-to-Face After 4+ Years On Zoom

After working together, online-ONLY, for 4 1/2 years, Troy Ismir and I FINALLY got to meet each other face-to-face, in Boulder, Colorado, at the end of July.

After a spirited walk-and-talk around a little lake, which felt like two friends (or even brother and sister) reconnecting after not seeing each other for years, we both wanted to do a little impromptu, unscripted, unrehearsed, completely-in-the-moment, one-take-video, to honor our work together and commemorate this meeting for ourselves, and, potentially, share our story with others.

As you’ll hear, Troy is deeply courageous, and he challenges me to be equally so. As I see him and show him how he can step more and more into his sovereign power, I am equally challenged to step more and more into my own.

When people call me a business “coach” or a life “coach,” I get a little uncomfortable, because I am not externally trained as a coach, and the work I do is not traditional coaching … although it is deeply transformative and serves a similar purpose. I call my work co-conspiring. This video gives you taste of what that means and looks like.
