REViVE Hope for Health Personal Guidebook
MY HISTORY — ORIGINALLY POSTED AUGUST 7, 2024 ON INSTAGRAM@THEPOINTOFYOU
I am pleased to share, today, the book I co-conceived, co-authored and designed with the nonprofit REViVE Hope for Health, titled REViVE Hope for Health Personal Guidebook — Expand Your Health Care Options to Live Well, officially released last week.
If you or someone you care about is facing a life-threatening or life-challenging health concern, and you are feeling less-than-satisfied or uncomfortable with the treatment options being offered, this Guidebook was written for you … to help you streamline your efforts to find new, alternative and complementary health care options.
The Guidebook does NOT advocate for any one medicine approach. It offers simple tools to help each of us better understand the six primary medicine systems, how they are unique and complementary, and how we can begin to explore and try different approaches that are in alignment with our personal health care values, preferences and goals.
For nearly two years, as Board VP and Executive VP/Perspective Design, I poured all the skill and love I have into this collaboration (from rebranding and logo design, to manuscript writing and book design, and finally website content development, design and implementation), with the hope of co-creating something that inspires, empowers and encourages all of us to be more response-able in making the health care choices that best support us in “living well.” See my preface story pics for why this matters to me.
The REViVE Hope for Health Personal Guidebook is available on Amazon. For more information visit revivehopeforhealth.org. Note: The nonprofit owns all rights to this book and any income generated by it.
In the photos, I’m holding the 1st edition (not officially announced), which acknowledged me on the cover as co-author and included my preface story and bio in the content. Sadly, due to my resignation in early May, these pieces have been excluded from the current 2nd Edition, so I’ve shared photos of them in this post.
Most importantly, I believe in the potential of this book to both improve and save lives, and nothing is more important than that. Please share if you're inspired to.
