2021 Journey 5th Moon Cycle DETACH

The first 4 moon cycles of the year were about getting over our self-denial patterns (that create our self-limiting dependencies on others) to reclaim our SOVEREIGN POWER.
At its core, my journey looked like this:
I ACCEPT you are not happy.
I FORGIVE myself for not making you happy.
I DESERVE to be “not guilty” and “not punished.” I DESERVE to be happy.
I OPEN to I Am Good.
The second 4 moon cycles are about getting over our self-defense patterns (that create oppositional co-dependencies with others) to reclaim our GRACE IN RELATIONSHIP.
We’re moving through the 5th moon cycle now (Apr 11 - May 10) and the focus is DETACH.
In session, we use the metaphor of detaching “energy trailers” from our Selves. These trailers can be found in our stories about how others see us and what we think others expect of us. The reality is, our subconscious survival instincts create these stories and expectations and lead us to people and situations that will fulfill them, again and again, so we stay small and “safe," to “survive.” Yeah.
For me, this year, DETACH has looked like this:
SELF-DEFENSE TRAILER = I have to do 3x as much as others, because I can.
Story: Bryan and I are moving. 3 weeks ago, I was worrying about all we have to do to be ready to move and feeling like I was going to have to do 3x as much. Nope, he does NOT expect this of me. That was my self-defense brain pattern. I was caught in this thought and piled all of our sheets on top of my own box of laundry and missed the last stair and fell hard, resulting in an ankle sprain and knee injury. Yeah. Now I canNOT do 3x as much … which I never had to do in the first place.
I’m also detaching trailers that say I am bad if I take up space or get in someone's way, I always have to be available when people want me to be, I need to give more and not be paid for it, and I don’t get to ask for help. DETACH!
It’s CRAZY how many “trailers" we unknowingly create and attach to our Selves... and such a relief to DETACH them, one by one.
