Angel Collinson is one of the world’s best big mountain skiers. In addition to being extremely accomplished at her sport — and the only woman ever to win “best line” of the year — she is known for her humility, her heart, her candor and her hilarious sense of humor.
Our work together immediately revealed deep feelings of guilt for no longer wanting the career she knew she was privileged to have. She was stuck feeling beholden to living the life that others needed, wanted and expected her to live. She was using her humor to survive her inner unhappiness.
This year, her retirement from skiing was officially announced, and her phenomenal career has been honored and celebrated by filmers, sponsors and fans. Now, she's sharing stories of her adventures sailing the world on Sea Bear, the boat she bought with her partner. She's accepting the value of WHO she is, not just the value of WHAT she does.
